Where to use
Filter
Geopex non-woven geotextiles create a filter bridge so the small pores retain the smaller soil particles and allow water to pass without clogging the filter.
Stress distribution
The mechanical properties of the Geopex nonwoven geotextiles will improve the load-bearing capacity of the foundation when installed under or between different layers of the foundation and will reduce deformation of the foundation. The combination of tensile strength with a high elongation ensures good energy absorption, making it extremely suitable for use in railways, roads and embankments.
Separation
The use of non-woven geotextiles, with properties such as high strength and a correct elongation and puncture resistance, will result in good separation of the foundation layers. This prevents mixing of the soil layers, which will extend the lifespan of the structure, as roads and railways.
Erosion control
The structure of our nonwovens with many small pores will prevent small soil particles from leaching from, for example, river banks. Non-wovens can also be used in sandbags and geo elements.
Protection
The good puncture resistance, weight and thickness of nonwovens will provide good protection layer for applications with geo-membranes.

Drainage
The design of hydraulic structures is very precise. The hydraulic properties of the Geopex nonwoven geotextiles are ideal for creating a stable structure. The good water permeability ensures rapid drainage of excess water during and after installation.
